The Huckleberry Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the local pet community through community activism and financial support to respected pet organizations. The Foundation was established by Affordable Pets to carry out our promise of returning a portion of every membership sold right back to the community.

The Foundation was inspired and named after our beloved yellow Labrador retriever, Huckleberry. Some say Huckleberry was born a lemon battling medical conditions his entire life. Huckleberry has overcome several illnesses including a benign spinal tumor, sciatica, periodic seizures, terrible allergies, an addiction to women's lingerie (don't ask), and the surgical removal of a golf ball (his Dad's fault). Through it all, Huckleberry has handled himself with grace and class (unless someone has left food out) and is an irreplaceable member of our family.

Huckleberry's favorite activities include neighborhood walks, swimming at the lake, visiting with his fellow canines, and scouring the land for leftover food. Because of his love for the local community we dedicate our services to its continued preservation and improvement.
